I’m not terribly disappointed that there’s no S3 of GO as I felt like the story ran its course but if this kills the Sandman series I’ll be bummed.

Based on what I’ve seen of Kaos so far, if Gaiman’s out of the Sandman series, I vote for Charlie Covell to get a crack at it.

Gaiman has voluntarily offered to step back from Good Omens. So at least his has enough decency to do something like that.

What's amazing about this whole Gaiman situation is the not a single one of the people he's worked with or been friends with, lots of whom will be very will known to people who use forums like these, has had a word to say on the subject. And we know that if it was a right-wing author being accused of the same abuse they'd have plenty to say about it.

Politics aside, it is truly staggering just how silent everyone is about Gaiman given how much people normally say about other celebrities on the left and right faced with accusations like this.
