Peaky blinders final

Anyone else watched tonight's episode?
I don't know if covid played apart but I felt this series was a weak one.
I assume the actress who plays Ada was busy with gentleman Jack she was hardly in the final.

Yes I saw it. I'll be honest, I found the first four episodes a bit of a slog, but episode 5 was very good and I thought the finale was excellent! Nothing really surprising happened (well aside from
Tommy discovering he wasn't dying after all which caught me on the hop
)

I thought the gunfight outside of the Garrison was superbly done, after too little Arthur this series he's had a lot to do the past few episodes.

I'm not sure if Ada was missing due to Covid/Gentlemen Jack or whether it was simply that there was nothing for her to do in this episode. You could tell people in some scenes were standing quite apart from one another but there's no way round that.

First time I've noticed this but there were Covid advisors mentioned in the credits.

Would have been nice to see Mosely/Mitford get their comeuppance but I guess historically that wasn't possible without going all Tarrantino on us!

It was a disappointing season, as @Starkers says, but the final episode was good.

Not sure about Knight’s proposed film sequel, unless they do it in the style of big-screen versions of 1970s sitcoms and have the gang go for a holiday in the Costa del Sol, only to find that the hotel is unfinished and a revolution is taking place. I’d totally be up for that.

I read somewhere that the film will be set in ww2, but have only seen that in one place so not sure if it's true.

I have only seen it on one local newspaper site, but they said the film was going to be set during ww2.

Carry on Small Heath :lol:

I tapped out on the show right around when the Russians showed up. It just seemed like "Boardwalk Empire" with unintelligible (to me) accents and Murphy as a tough guy never really worked for me. And, honestly, while I sometimes thought about giving it another try, that ended with the tragic news about Helen McCory
