She's my favorite.

I have to say ar first I thought oh she was going to be a background character like Mayweather was but so far I love the character. Her joke on Uhura with the dress uniform was funny. She's going to be the one with the quips. She's my favorite of the new characters at this point also.

While she still needs that episode to flesh her out.
Hopefully they don't do the usual dive into some tragic melodrama she's overcoming, but keep her mostly positive. She obviously loves what she does, and is exceptionally good at at it. .

I like her character, she seems very loyal to her captain and Fed crew dynamic, a reliable ace pilot, quick at the controls, and apparently quick on the draw, with a slightly sarcastic confidence.

Although agree it'd be nice to see that get her in a bit of trouble too.

I really liked the darker serious side of the character in the season finale, presumably the result of seven more years of horrible adventures and losses like the first season had. They should let the actress show the non-snarky, non-fun loving side of the character more often.
