Happy Frozen Frenzy everyone. 16 games, and ESPN's NHL Red Zone type show. This is the only thing ESPN brought in since they got the new TV contract that I actually like.
Sharks are officially a fun team to watch again. I don't expect playoffs but Macklin Celebrini is slowly turning into the face of the franchise. They stole that game in Washington last night.
Evidently Wasatch are some mountains in Salt Lake City. Learned something new today.
If they had a losing streak, the headline would write itself: "The Abominable Snowmen"

Utah Elks would have had a nice ring to it. I haven't heard that be suggested at all.
Connor McJesus wins it for Canada. Seemed like the only logical choice.
It was the Tkachuk's tournament. I'm hoping Ottawa makes the playoffs so we can see more Shenanigans from Brady and Matthew. Not only that, but man did Florida load up at the trade deadline. Marchand leaving Boston might have been more surprising than Hertl going to Vegas last year.
Can the NHL really expand to 34 teams? Some billionaire is making a big fuss about wanting to bring a team to Houston. Folks in New Orleans and Atlanta are also talking a big game about expansion. Omaha, Kansas City, Cincinnati have also been mentioned. Obviously some cities are just pawns to get the potential owners in other cities to spend more.
It's all Money, but I hope they don't expand. The product is pretty decent now, and the scheduling will be a nightmare with 2 more teams.

Ovechkin is 3 away from passing Gretzky for the all time goals record. It feels like it should be getting more publicity than it has, but this might be an example of Ovechkin being kind of a divisive guy and the NHL not knowing how to market itself. This whole thing feels really quiet for something historic.
