NBA 2010-2011

BTW, I'm surprised at how little grief Wade is getting. It was his Miami Heat too (honestly, since Lebron actually seemed to defer to Wade and get him involved, it was arguably more his team). He didn't really show up in the fourth quarter either. Really, he deserves quite a lot of the blame if one wants to give blame to the Heat instead of credit to the Mavs.

But Wade has done more at least scoring wise, especially in the 4th quarter.... which is where the largest amount of criticism has been levied against LeBron. Plus D-Wade had that injury

Besides, Wade's already won a championship. He doesn't have the same stigma that LeBron has and Nowitzki used to have.

I've barely posted in this thread and now I'm a hater? Ok then.
You do realize that my response to your comment about the Lakers had nothing whatsoever to do with the number of posts you've made in this thread, right? :)

But you called me a hater, even though I really haven't hated on anything, especially the Lakers. It was merely an observation.
You wrote:
In a way, it reminded me of watching the deciding game between the Mavs and Lakers earlier this playoffs in that while things didn't come to blows, LA just packed up and gave up. Serves them right,
"Serves them right"? The Lakers - Mavs series ended weeks ago, yet you went out of your way to take a shot at the Lakers. THAT is some hatin', son. Maybe hating on the Lakers is so ingrained that you don't even realize when you are doing it.

But don't think I'm angry or bare you any ill will because of it. I understand any NBA fan's hatred for the Lakers - if I weren't a fan, I might hate them too. But I especially understand a fan of a western conference team hating them. It is a ridiculous amount of winning for any non-fan to have to put up with.

You should just embrace it and let that Lakers hate fly - seriously. I'd respect you a lot more for that. Beats trying make a snide remark, getting busted and then trying to deny it. "Merely an observation", "barely posted in this thread" -- come on now, you're better than that.

I meant Miami but maybe my sentence structure was wrong. I really did mean Miami though, so sorry for the confusion. :)

Yes, Wade was consistently Miami's best player throughout the Finals. His return sparked the Heat's comeback in in the second half of game 7.

Wade does have to bear some major responsibility for the loss, but he did not go out like a sucka', the way LeBron did and now have people questioning his heart, his courage, his desire to win. Wade didn't capitulate and fought through to the end.

Oh, I agree with that. It was the first thought that crossed my mind, although Star Wolf's explanation is amusing. Still, clutch players in these situations make these shots or put the team on his shoulders to win the game. Wade didn't do this either.

And I do think Wade hurts Lebron as a player. He makes him more passive and turns Lebron into a jump shooting passer. That being said, I think it's significantly his own damn fault for becoming a jump shooting player who misses clutch shots, but I do think Wade is an equal partner in this and didn't seem to get the same negative treatment.
