Majel Barrett Roddenberry Passes a Year Ago Today

Majel Barrett Roddenberry passed away a year ago today, on Dec. 18th, 2008.

She was a wonderful woman and a truly classy representative of the Star Trek community.

Thank you for the reminder. She was a gracious, wonderful lady who helped me in more ways than I could ever repay.

Not only was she an ambassador for Star Trek, she was also a smart business woman who knew how to navigate the Hollywood maze quite well.

Majel Roddenberry is still missed by many of us.

Majel was the first Trek actor I ever met. She always made herself very accessible to the fans. She is remembered fondly.

Time flies by wayyyyyy to fast. Many people remark about how nice and down to earth she was. I would have been a pleasure to have met her. RIP.

I remember seeing her at a convention back in the 1980's. She followed Gene everywhere he went in that hotel. And she had the biggest smile on her face...and her eyes were sparkling with joy. She really loved that man. I mean, I didn't know who admired Roddenberry more us or her.

If there is any consolation in her passing is that she is reunited with her beloved Gene. I know that once again she is truly happy.
