Check out the product on Amazon (with pictures) here.

I read about this baby back in June and immediately preordered it. And for the last four days I have been checking my Amazon account twice a day to see if it has shipped or not. I can not wait for it to get here. It is like Christmas on a crashing plane!

So, did anyone else order this? Has yours come yet? What do you think?

Like you, I preordered months ago. Really excited about getting it next week. I've convinced my wife to watch the series with me (well it's a rewatch for me of course). She doesn't believe me when I tell her she'll love it. The only way I could get her to agree was to promise I would watch Glee with her when she gets the full series box set one day.

Now I just have to figure out what I can trade-off in order to get her to watch Firefly and nuBSG.

I'll probably pick it up for Christmas. I don't have the physcial space for it right now.

^ I don't have the space for it either but sometimes the heart wants what it wants. :rommie: (I am playing the part of a nomad at the moment while I look for work.)

And mine still hasn't shipped yet. Usually Amazon sends preorders out days before they are released. It's very odd...

If I hadn't already bought seasons 1-5 over the years as they were released, I'd probably order this right away. Instead, I just ordered season 6 so that I can complete the collection. I could probably try to sell my DVDs for the individual season sets but it isn't that big of a deal for me to own The Complete Collection. As long as I have all the episodes I'm happy.

Pretty much my opinion as well. Might do the 'complete series' set on Blu-Ray though...

Donated my season 1-3 DVD sets to the library where I work today (never bothered getting 4 & 5 in anticipation of a series set) and will be getting the Blu-ray complete set tomorrow! :D

*sigh* Was hoping to spend tonight involved in a plane crash on a mysterious island, but it wasn't meant to be. Awesome job stocking each store with only one or two copies of the complete collection, Best Buy.

Some investigation has suggested that the complete collection won't be released in Australia (in any format) :wtf: - and even if it is, it'll have an absurd price tag attached; season 6 on DVD will be $80-90, apparently. So I'll wait 'til our dollar gets its act back together and grab it from Amazon.

I had been interested in purchasing this and going back through the series armed with all the subsequent information and re-evaluating stuff and appreciating the Big Story but after the way the series wrapped up my enthusiasm crashed. I doubt I'll revisit the series anytime soon but when I do in a few years the DVRed episodes I have and the syndication stuff will suffice.

Yep. That will do it. (Sorry. I keep forgetting that I am still "old school" when it comes to these things.)

On the one hand I can't wait for mine to come in, on the other hand I'm probably going to be watching it with 1-3 friends anyhow, so probably can't tear into it as soon as it arrives.

Shipped today but for some reason Amazon sent it by UPS instead of regular mail. That means I have to be on hand to receive it. Well I work during the day. There's a reason I choose regular mail as an option. There's a place I can go to pick it up. What a PITA.

I live in an apartment. Would rather not have it left in the hallway. Office won't accept it. As expected, they tried to deliver today but no one home. Figures my wife is working late the rest of the week. Maybe I can leave work early tomorrow.
