Somehow it just seems wrong, incongruous, that Lego should make such clever games.

Yeah, I know squat about gaming, but I always get a kick out of seeing the demos/trailers & what-not. The Star Wars trailer was a trip!

I loved Lego Star Wars so I will be picking this up as soon as it's released (the same goes for Lego Indiana Jones).

I posted a thread in Gen Trek about which ST eps would work best for an ST Lego game. The scene in Jabba's in LSW2-RoTJ, where Luke tries to grab a weapon, only to grab a mug, remains one of my faves.

But God help whoever made the two-mushrooms/bats/R2 gate sequence on Dagobah.

My boy and I can't wait. I kinda have a funny feeling if the honeymoon planning doesn't really lead anywhere, we'll just hole up at home playing this for a week.

Next week (10/12) at Toys R Us, they're having their buy 2, get 1 free sale on video games. So you can buy Lego Indiana Jones and Lego Batman and get Lego Star Wars for free.

I rented it, and my son and I both had a great time. The gameplay is pretty standard for these Lego games, but I felt the cut scenes were funnier than Lego Indy and some of the puzzles were a bit more complex. Also, playing the villians with their different abilities is a lot of fun. I had the game 79% complete when I had to take it back, but my son is already asking for it for Christmas. Despite having 100% in all three previous Lego games, he still replays them on a regular basis. I expect Lego Batman will be the same.

Great news...I loved the SW lego games, and I'm not even a big big time SW fan...
