She uses her magical Vulcan mind control powers to become one with the speaker box, immediately touching the mind of the weak-willed, minimum-wage employee at the other end, and causing the helpless victim to focus on nothing but T'Pol's voice, making her easily understood.
In Star Trek's timeline, a little-known side effect of the Eugenics Wars was that speaker reception at drive-thrus was greatly enhanced.

I just watched this episode tonight and I loved that scene. Other than that, not a good episode.
