The disease that I dread contracting in winter is Norwalk virus. I've caught it twice in the past three years, and as Monty Python once said, "it really opens up the sluices at both ends." The last time, when I went to the hospital, they had to put me on an IV to rehydrate me.

Well, I went to the doctor and I got an antibiotic, antihistimine, a nose spray and I picked up some Tylenol PM to sleep.
