If you were offered 4 million dollars to live inside a game for a year which game world, and would you do it?

OK fun topic. Say this was all possible and run with this, let's hope this is a fun topic.

Someone has devised a way to live inside game worlds, any game, not via keyboard and screen, or headset but actually live in those worlds.

They offer you the sum of 4 million dollars to live for one year inside the game of your choice and in return you come back and tell of your time there and what it was like for the rest of the world to learn about.

First off which game would you pick and would you take on the challenge?

I'm sort of 50/50 I think I might and I'd pick the world of Horizon Zero Dawn only the 2nd game and choose to live in Plainsong which is all foresty and full of plants and peaceful people. If I was given that world and that location I'd do it.

I'm assuming I don't die for real in there regardless of what happens?

Probably something quirky and calm like Stray. Or come to think of it...there's plenty of Trek games, so I change my answer to one of those. ;)

Well Yeah I didn't think of death hehe

On the top of my mind, KOTOR, Gazillionaire (old but great game). Both games really needs sequels

If arcade games count....KRULL!

Without thinking why did the topic title make me think Leisure Suit Larry?

You know as much as I like the idea I feel like that kind of world would get boring really fast.

I just had another thought regarding this.

While you are inside a game experiencing that world for a year would people outside in the real world see you, and could you do things that are unexpected of your own free will?

I have a confession....
If memory serves I have never played Leisure Suit Larry, it was a "thing" with my friends back in the day (90s) but I didn't have a computer back then, but perhaps I watched them play it.... maybe.
