I wish more places delivered.

Roger,, you can wear anything you like. I'll have no problem with it.

Back on topic: when i visited my son in Charlottesville i was absolutely amazed at how many places in the area deliver. AND you could order ONLINE. I guess because it is a college town... it was great. You like, never have to leave your house if you don't want to.

That's actually one reason I'm excited to move back to my old town. There are 3 college in the immediate area, and all the food places are open extra late during the school year.

Hey, your kid's a Wahoo? :bolian:

And I hope the selection has improved. When I was there back in the late-90's, there were about 3000 places to get a Lo Mein, pizza or wings, and very little else. I wonder if Little Johns is still down on the Corner. I practically lived off their sandwiches when I lived on Wertland St. All Boar's Head, all the time.

And hopefully you can use campusfood or foodler and never even have to talk to anyone. One of the great advancements of the 21st century, as far as I'm concerned.

Start up a service that takes people's orders for all the non-delivery places. I recall seeing an ad for one here in Winnipeg. You call them up with your McD's, KFC, whatever order and they'll go over there and pick up and then deliver it to you. Haven't used it myself, but it could be useful.

M&M McFlurry

Hmm... we have Smarties McFlurry's here in Canada... :shifty: But then I guess you don't know what those are. :p

I do (only from learning it here), except Smarties in Canada and Smarties in the US are completely different types of candy.

I wish more places delivered, too. I'm really craving a meatball sub from Subway after tonight's episode of Chuck. Damned tasty product placement! :klingon:

What blows my mind about this place is that you can't even get a pizza delivered after 9pm! It's complete nonsense.

My ex once lived in a town that closed up shop at nine. There was much rejoicing the day the taco hut opened up and stayed open until ...ulp... eleven. It's not like that anymore, but about ten years ago everything went dark around nine. If you wanted to do anything, you drove to a neighboring town.

Seriously. I don't even start thinking about pizza until 10 or 11.

Neither do I, normally. I figured by moving closer to Chicago, where it is more populated and people generally have more money, that restaurants and bars would be open later. Turns out I was completely wrong.
