I'm excited about this! I think Lahti is great, and I could see her being pretty badass as McGarrett's mom. I can also think she looks like she could be his mom physically, and is around the right age. I'm relieved they didn't pick someone who's 45 and ask us to buy that she's Steve's mom. I can't wait to find out where she's been and how/why she killed Wo Fat's dad.

The Oscar nominee will appear in an episode that features flashbacks to Danny's (Scott Caan) life as a cop in New Jersey, according to Entertainment Weekly, which first reported the news. Howard's character does not get along with Danny.

So excited there's going to be an episode that focuses on Danno's career in New Jersey. Danno's my fav--can't wait to see what hand-waving and whining this episode will result in.
