I can't speak for everyone, but I suspect most people who have a problem with Cinema Sins is not because they 'nitpick' or because the person has no sense of humor. I don't say this to imply you shouldn't enjoy it, just...your assumption of why others don't might be a bit off.

Okay, it’s all right to like Cinema Sins, but what is bolder and emphasized seems to be trolling. This is not okay.

I dont like Cinema Sins. I think they try too hard on their joke. That being said:

INS is the only ST movie I haven't seen in the theather, and that's because it's a bad movie. I know it is bad because in my country(not USA) it was only in theaters for a week before it was pulled out and THAT's because nobody went to see it. I was more than a little salty because I fully intended to go see it in the second week.

I don't remember when the DVD was released, I remember I rented then it and did not like it and never watched it again.

I like NEM better, though

Insurrection's biggest sin is trying to make me see selfish luddites hogging the cure for death as the good guys.

How exactly are they keeping it for themselves away from others, rather than just wanting that they continue to get it, other than that they aren't going around advertising the planet's benefits to others?

I'm pretty pro-technology and dismissive of rejecting but I don't therefore outright dislike those who do or would.
