I'm not.
He seems like a nice guy.His name is Robert Pattinson. His name is Robert Pattinson. His name is Robert Pattinson... (holds bar of soap up in the air)
And you fail to grasp the basic concept of consideration and maybe kindness towards others.
You ignored my point that said it's ok when you are in a clearly marked spoiler area such as this, enter at your own risk or as you say when you enter a discussion about a book or anything without having read/seen it in a dedicated area of a forum or somewhere else like a panel discussion at a convention.
What i am saying though that outside these areas it is simply rude to just blurt out stuff without having the slightest thought if it would affect others. If a conversation ends up in possible spoiler territory when it started about something completely else would you still spoil it for the person you talk to because it's been decades since the material was released or will you hold back and at least ask if that person is ok with spoilers?
If you wish to be taken serious like an adult, act like one. Otherwise, I am done wasting my time on a teenager.
To the mods, I am aware such behavior on my part is most likely against forum rules, and I do apologize. But really, the last few pages here went nowhere because of such childish posting.
I'm legitimately shocked by this.
I like your curveball! That would be a great move, IMO.
Especially if, subsequent movies do not touch on GEoD directly - introducing Leto II into the Messiah / Children movie as narrator / perspective - would be incredible!
In my mind, to fully play out Paul’s path, Leto II has to be introduced and explored to fruition - for the full meaning and weight of Paul’s / Leto II’s choices to be realised.
I don’t have prescience, but I’m imagining the possibilities… lol!
And how would Leto's memories be able to tell the parts of the story that Leto wasn't there to witness?
But what about characters who aren't Leto's ancestors?
Part of Dune's whole "Genetic Memory" thing is that someone born with those psychic powers can actually tap into the memories of their ancestors to see things as they saw them.
Don't ask how it works.
That was what broke my suspension of disbelief with the Dune series towards the end. A Ghola tapping into their memories when their body was recently dead? Sure. Why not? If Mary Shelley had written that the transplanted Abby Normal brain had retained memories that came back after Dr Fraunkensteen reanimated the body, that might have been a page too far, but perhaps not.
Thousands of years later after many reGhola-ings and the body not always being recovered? And they're hyper smart and have the reflexes of and can instinctively fight like Enter The Dragon Bruce Lee at the age of a child? Naw.
Ah, so he's s Trill or the Avatar.Part of Dune's whole "Genetic Memory" thing is that someone born with those psychic powers can actually tap into the memories of their ancestors to see things as they saw them.

He is the worm and the host.Ah, so he's s Trill or the Avatar.
Y'know, I could be all stiff and formal and Spockian if I wanted. That used to be my posting style, no matter which forum I was on, and people said they didn't like it. So I loosened up some, and now you're presuming to lecture me and calling me a "teenager" (name-calling is so childish)? I first read Dune back in 1983. Do the math. I'm no teenager, and I've read the entire series multiple times over the decades. I know what I'm talking about. I do not need to ask anyone's permission to discuss a book that's been out since I was 2 years old.
Pointless post.Cool story.
