Did anyone else here like the Star Trek Generations game?

I know that it got a lot of hate at the time it came out because its FPS parts were outdated compared to other FPS games at the time, but even with that I still had a lot of fun with the game. For one, I thought it was much better than the movie, since you get to go to multiple planets to stop Soran from destroying their solar system's stars. Also, the game has multiple paths and multiple endings, so it's worth playing over and over again. Such an underrated game!

It was my first full game, and I'm still somewhat obsessed with it. Had to take screenshots and print all the items and glue them on cardboard, memorized all the maps (kinda), and was so happy when I finally beat all the missions. Some 10 years later, I played it again, and immediately knew where to go and what to do, and won all missions easily. I was totally blown away cause I didn't know other games with better graphics at the time. The maps were so amazing - it was the first game that let you explore part of the Enterprise, and walk on the bottom of a lake, and see a whole BoP from inside, and even walk and swim through a living planet's organs. Few games before or after had such imagination IMO.

Yes! I loved that Enterprise level!

Does the game work on Windows 10?

I liked it, the FPS parts wound me up at the time but looking back it's probably just because there was so many different levels. there were literally dozens - you'd of needed a lot of HDD space and discs to fit it all on if it was at the standard of the time.

I loved the cutscenes and ship battles, firing 10 torpedoes at once..... the different mission choices was also fun, as was playing as Kirk and exploring the Enterprise D. Great times.

Antilios was not that hard on an old PC, but is impossible on a faster machine, cause you can't get through a narrow hole anymore XD

I know it's a year old, so apologies if it's too old to post. But someone online has made the entire game playable on modern systems with no issues whatsoever. The speed is perfect with no glitches at all.

...tell us more...?
I'll try and find the website.

Incidentally, I think I discovered roughly where the other deleted away mission with Worf would have been. As far as I can guess, this is the only deleted piece.

I extracted all the audio files from the .DAT files.

I think it's after Soran's second attempt to destroy Amargosa using the observation station (Geordi's mission).

I think it's a final trilithium away mission on another planet/spaceship at Arvada, prior to the final Veridian confrontation. Data references Soran returning to a previous location where he got trilithium, and Worf says that a cloaked ship has entered the Arvada system.

There's also reference to the creatures which Kirk encounters on Veridian from a promotional trailer.

I think they make an appearance on Worf's mission prior to Veridian. I think a Ferengi trader message is intercepted at Halee, regarding these creatures.

This mission would also have had Soran meeting up with an old El Aurian friend of his. He would have picked up a 'package', which was probably more trilithium.

My theory is then we would have gone to the klingon battle at Guernica if Worf succeeded. Or straight to Veridian if he failed the mission.
