Blake's 7 Revisitation (rewatch)

Re: Balke's 7 Revisitation (rewatch)

I actually really like Bounty...of course a lot of that is down to really liking Tyce

Re: Balke's 7 Revisitation (rewatch)

Episode 1.13 ORAC

We pick up where Deliverance left off

Gan's looking sweaty and worn out.

Blake plays the Captain's Log for Avon.

Avon gets dizzy and neither he nor Blake notices Jenna swaying in the background.
Cally finds Jenna in the Corridor about to pass out.

Cally discovers Avon, Vila, Gan and Jenna have Radiation Sickness, and there's no
drugs on board for it. Hopefully Aristo will have Anti-Rad drugs to trade for delivery
of the power cells.

The Awesome Servalan and Travis arrive, equipped with a map a 5 year gave them of the
path to the backdoor of the Lab

Blake visits Avon in Sickbay, and Avon explains Ensor's work, and how all computers
now contain his technology of interconnectivity.

Zen says Ensor has a 40 year old Mechanical Heart, with batteries that last 40 years
that's why he needs the Enery cells.

Ensor's computer asks for instructions, but, Ensor is crashed out, so his computer
enslaves Zen and the Liberator. Ensor's computer gives Blake and Cally instructions
on how to enter to deliver the energy cells

Servelan screams like a little girls and Awesome Travis comes to her rescue. Then,
after she shakes off her fear, she arrogantly says, "No, you'll follow me".

Computer drone shocks Blake and Cally to drop to their weapons, and leads them to
the Lab

Ensor doesn't red from Green, and expects Cally and Blake to operate. They have to go
to the Liberator for that. And head out another back door as Servalan and Travis bust
through the door

Awesome Servalen finds another conveniently left laying around map of the complex,
and notices, it's faster the way they came in

5 more minutes of tunnel walking results in Ensor's death (Avon and Vila Transport
down with guns). Cally and Blake grab ORAC and walk to the Teleport range.

Servalan and Travis are waiting for them, and demand ORAC, but, Awesome Avon saves
the day shooting Travis's handgun. "I was aiming for his head"

The crew Beams up with ORAC and Servalan turns on Travis.

The Gang fires up ORAC. ORAC B-Slaps Gan verbally. Our 7th Crew member, ORAC, joins
our heroes. ORAC's limits have failed to be defined, and it says it Predicts the
future. After much cajoling, ORAC shows Liberator being destroyed as a prediction
(well certainty)

Heck of a S1 Cliffhanger, this experience has been awesome so far (despite the slowness of my reviews). Stronger First season than many Sci-Fi shows. I think there's only 1 really sub-par episode in S1 (The Web) and many very good ones, while building an Arc and a Universe, pretty impressive model, IMHO.

Re: Balke's 7 Revisitation (rewatch)

Whilst we're on the subject of Blakes 7...look who I ran into today at the National Space Centre in Leicester...

Re: Balke's 7 Revisitation (rewatch)

Most cool Starkers, thanks. :techman:

Does he still have the Superior Attitude or has he mellowed with age :rommie:

Re: Balke's 7 Revisitation (rewatch)

No key so unfortunately I was unable to tak to him :)

I think my g/f thought I was mad getting excited about a perspex box with some bits stuck inside of it!

Re: Balke's 7 Revisitation (rewatch)

Episode 2.1 Redemption

I don't remember ever seeing this one.

Blake playing Orac's prediction over and over again, stressing out. Avon watches him, basically giggling to himself until Blake asks his opinion. After showing Blake his superior intelligence, Avon makes Blake look like an idiot and explains Blake should be looking at the stars and avoid that spot.

"How long have you known" "Several Hours" "And you let the others worry all this time" "Yea...Well maybe they'll learn to stop relying upon you for all the answers"

They're chased by some Baby liberator ships (I knew as soon as I saw the behinds of the ships)

Angelique Pettybone appears to have gotten another Non-porn SciFi part. SHe wants to know where they picked up Liberator and how.

The twist at the end is that it was Liberator's Sister ship that exploded, because Orac messed with their weapons.

I thought we never learned a thing about Liberator's creators or it's agenda, so this one really surprised me to see. Is there more on them later in the series that I also don't remember, or is that it?

Re: Balke's 7 Revisitation (rewatch)

Ok then...

No, there isn't. ;)

 You're going to have to explain that when I get far enough along. Your question, "Do you really want to know", implies yes, but, your fingers say no. HEHE

Re: Balke's 7 Revisitation (rewatch)

There really isn't, which is a bit of a disappointment, so "Do you really want to know?" is probably asked because, frankly, you might be happier thinking that those questions might someday be answered. They aren't.

Ah, OK, fair enough, back to what I originally thought, LOL.
