Best Moment EVER in STNG

I have three that I can't really choose between:

1) Picard arguing for Data's rights in 'Measure of a Man'
Jean-Luc Picard: Now tell me, Commander, what is Data?
Bruce Maddox: I...I don't understand.
Jean-Luc Picard: [shouting] What is he?
Bruce Maddox: A machine.
Jean-Luc Picard: Are you sure?
Bruce Maddox: Yes.
Jean-Luc Picard: You see, he's already met two of your criteria for sentience, so what about the third? Consciousness, in even the smallest degree! What is he then? I don't know. [to Maddox] Do you? [to Riker] Do you? [to Louvois] Do you?

2) Picard: "There...are...four...lights!" ('Chain of Command, Part 2')

3)'All Good Things...' The last poker scene. Camera moving away slowly from the crew as Picard says "Five card stud, nothing wild... And the sky's the limit."

Ah, good TNG. *sigh*

in the ep where picard was trying to contain sareks emotions and just going through the whole spectrum..really gets to ya when he started talking about amanda

The Best of Both Worlds: Part 1

Riker: Mr. Worf, Fire...
To Be Continued... Best. Cliffhangar. Ever. On Any Show.

I want to be unique or different or something, but I gotta to with this one too. The Locutus speech is fucking haunting.

Kamen realising that he really is Picard, and seeing the probe launch in The Inner Light.

That's #2 for me. Hate to admit it but it chokes me up pretty good.

Another one of my favorite moments that no one has mentioned yet is the scene between Picard and Dathon in 'Darmok' where Picard figures out what he was trying to accomplish by bringing them there to fight the beast.

Also from The Inner Light; the very end when Picard takes the Resican flute from Riker. The complete body language has the impact of a Mike Tyson punch. When the scene jumps to the exterior of Enterprise and the flute song echos hauntingly is simply brilliant production.

^ Is that more or less impact than a Tyson bite on the ear?

LOL

Wow. There are so many for me.

Definitley when Riker yells "Fire" in BoBW.

The scene in "Chain of Command" with four lights....

Plenty of others, but can't think straight(have had a few beers)

Worf smashing Geordi's mandolin.

An even better one from that episode "I protest Captain, I am not a merry man!!"

:guffaw:

:thumbsup:Qpid is a delightful romp with a lot of wonderful character moments in it.

I love Riker's reaction when it dawns on him that he's hitting on his captain's girlfriend as his pick-up line is shot down by Vash saying, "It's just that Jean-Luc does a very good imitation of you." :guffaw:

Warmest Wishes,
Whoa Nellie

I also like when she's leaving the bridge and the always stoic and composed captain says something like, "I'll see you then...then"

 :guffaw: Could it be that watching Vash caress the control panels on the armrests of his command chair left the calm, cool and collected captain a little bothered?

One of my favorite scenes from TNG is in First Contact, the episode not the movie. I loved the part when Picard and Troi beam into the scientist's office and tell her they are from another world. :)

In "Chain of Command" When a broken down Picard still has enough juice to call his jailer a frightened 6 year old boy, powerless to protect himself

I nearly shit myself when I first saw that. He became my favorite tv character from that point on
