Behind The Scenes Gossip

Thanks. Does this mean she and Robert Beltran are still friendly?

At Creation Convention- Sacramento 2003 Kate talked about all her castmembers.

About Robert Beltran she said:
"Robert Beltran? Yes. Sexy. Yes. Unbelievably good looking? Yes. Terribly difficult to sit in that proximity for seven years? Oh yes, yes, yes!
But best of all, so good. One of eleven children. Downs`Syndrom brother. He works passionately on his brother`s behalf. Wonderful son. Wonderful brother. Wonderful guy, and a fabulous actor."

I think this could be an answer to your question.

You can read this there

^ Dangit, why did you post that link? I ended up wasting like 20 minutes reading the whole transcription of her convention appearance! I would love to see Mulgrew at a convention!

"Wasting" time! Really?;)
Oh, I think I could give you some more transcriptions to waste the day.

Does anybody know the "Inside Voyager" videos at Youtube? They are great too.
This are the end credits (from part6)

Man back in the day Red77, bod and the other Janeway gals would be all over this thread. Haha good times.

Interest revelations all round so far. I think as far as behind the camera gossip goes, VOY was a fairly tame show, especially when you compare it Grey's Anatomy and the like. I think most of the actors got along, especially Picardo, McNeil and Russ.

The famous VOY blooper reel is one of the few times you can see the cast sort of being "themselves" on set. It's good footage.

Holy crap, this is a name I have not seen around in forever! They were good times, although I read rather than posted most of the time.

I wish I could see Mulgrew at a convention too. And I'll check out those Youtube vids.

^ Not to mention how the public loves the idea that two women can't be professionals about working together. People much prefer them to be bitchy - more entertainment value that way.

It was amusing to read an interview with Katee Sackhoff where she was asked about how her and Tricia Helfter "don't get along". Her response was something along the lines of "I'm meeting her for a beer after this which I wouldn't be doing if we didn't get along." That pretty much shut up the bitchfest speculation for Battlestar. :D

Good one, Katee Sackhoff!!!:techman:
Lesbian lovers?

That is SO not what I was thinking.

What is it with so many guys being fascinated by lesbians? But it seems the fascination is only when they're (the lesbians) hot.

Do that many guys really think that TWO girls would want them? At the same time? And that BOTH girls would be hot? Talk about a dream world.

Dudes (those dreaming this incessantly), come back to reality and try to sustain ONE relationship with ONE girl, first. If you can't even handle one, why do you think you can handle two?

^hehehe It's more of a joke to me now rather than an actual fantasy. I think your question is best left to a Misc. topic and another time. ;)

Sorry if I went a bit overboard in my reply. I wasn't sure how much of your post was serious and how much was joking. You read some bizarre fanboy posts here sometimes, you know?

All good?

Does it matter if the actors on the show did not get along? They were just co workers, nobody said they had to be friends. Regardless of what went on behind the scenes they all did their jobs very well. They still acted together fantasic and the show was still amazing. I don't get along with all of my co workers but I can still do my job with them when I need to.

Apparently Kate Mulgrew and Robert Beltran had some kind of personal falling out during the show. There is some speculation of an affair gone sour but no one really knows for sure.

Has anyone ever asked them about that on conventions maybe?
