ValenTINES Day.

Not Valentimes Day.

That is all, thank you.

I've seen/heard this more times than I care to think. Plenty of times over the last few weeks I've seen store signange saying "Valentimes Special" and similarly pronounced intercom announcements in stores.

It's VALENTINE DAMMIT!

But Valen-Times Day is an important day! To celebrate the coming of the Minbari who is not of Minbar! [You made that joke last year and it still isn't funny - someone]

Your forgetting that ever more important rant.

It's Daylight Saving Time!

There is no savings with the Day of time, just a single hour.

Didn't the Daylight Savings Bank*** get bailed out by the government recently in order to prevent Darkness from spreading across the land? Another victim of the credit crunch...

*** DSB: the bank who likes to say "You're an hour late. Wake up."

We all have our little windmills we must tilt at. I'm on a crusade to get people to stop saying "liberry" instead of "libRary." Sadly, I had to start with my co-workers... at the library.

Good thought.

When is it anyway?

That's the day it's okay to start looking for a new GalPal again.

Oh good, I was hoping you would post one of your complainsive threads today (I made that word up a few years ago, sounds much better than complaintive). While I was driving through the parking lot I thought about how irritating it is when people back into a spot. Sometimes it's necessary, like when your driveway is on a main road or it's an odd spot or something like that. But in the middle of a regular old parking lot where there is plenty of space to just back out of the spot normally when you leave, that's annoying. Mostly because people will spend several minutes backing up, pulling forward, straightening out, backing up again, pulling forward, etc. While you sit in the aisle waiting for them to get out of the way. Why must they do this? Why?!

My dad always says libary. It makes me cringe.
