How is Janeway sexy?

This week needs to pass quick so I can change my avatar.

I can. But I decided that this would be mine until I go and see X-Men: First Class. And I can't see it until next weekend since my husband told me not this weekend. :sigh: This is the first X-Men movie I haven't seen opening day or midnight showing.

Yeah, I'm being a little selfish. I'll admit to that.

I want to respond to everything that's occurred in the past couple pages but I know not where to start! I did grab this one, though:

I've watched the first ep of Game of Thrones. There was a tad too much sex in it for me. As in EVERY SCENE or that's what it felt like and since it's HBO it's quite graphic. The sci fi forum told me it didn't maintain that level of boobs and rutting but I've not watched another ep yet. Too busy catching up with Dr. Who and rewatching Bab5. I'm a bit delicate about this stuff.

I'm so the same way. I'm okay with some sexy times, but Spartacus: Blood and Sand drove me nuts for the exact same reason. (Well that, and how it POINTLESSLY ripped off 300's art style for no good reason rant rant rant rant.) If the sex is slowing the stupid story down, you're doin it wrong! HBO just throws it in because they can, I think. However, I'll grudgingly give Lucy Lawless points for being a fine-looking lady, if I must. At least there was that. Oh, and the guy from 300 who got kicked down the well was in it and he's pretty cool.

And now:

HAPPY FRIDAY!
(Fake blood alert)

In re the video: I can't decide which pithy one-liner to use, so y'all get a choice.

1. It's all fun and games until somebody puts an eye out.
2. Do you know where your towel is?

Well, IIRC, it was by the producers of 300 so that might be the connection.

And let's not talk about the scripts... The only thing that I like of this serie is some of the fight scenes, the rest is slow, very slow and repetitive.

Damn! Well, there goes all the hot air out of my rant. I guess that would explain Persian Guy Who Got Kicked Down The Well, too.

Possum, I like them both. However, I believe 1 gave me the loudest giggles!

EDIT: Seconded on the cool fight scenes! (even if they were like 300 :P)

That's what I think. If I'm remembering all of the Cinemark First Look's that I saw for it before the movie started in theatres.

I want to say that's what it said.

But I haven't seen it. Spartacus, Game of Thrones, the Borgias, and Nurse Jackie those are the ones I want to see that I don't have access to.

I don't think it was the producers of 300... it was by one of the producers of Xena (Rob Tapert). IIRC, Rob and Lucy were watching "300" and he exclaimed "this" is how we can do "X".

Good morning teacake!

So I know this has absolutely nothing to do about Janeway but I wanted to see if anyone would know who this is(I know who it is, but there's someone in this thread who might know too)
