Awesome! Next to Mad Men, this is the show I find myself looking forward to most each week. Great news!

Maybe next the Sci Fi Channel will stop airing Braveheart and Eve's Bayou!
Particularly one with such iffy ratings...this may be the beginning of NBC and Fox taking the "new media" business model more seriously. Internet-fandom skewing shows that get higher than average paid downloads and DVR viewings (which are still good for product placement strategies which can't be zapped; and DVR viewers who actually watch the ads anyway tend to be 18-34, I guess the older folks are smarter

Prison Break, Knight Rider, Chuck and My Own Worst Enemy also fall into this category, and they're being treated "eerily nicely" as well, when their ratings "should" get them cancelled. I just wish it could save Pushing Daisies, but the earmarks are not there. The demo isn't young and it's on ABC.
It also couldn't save Jericho - on CBS the "new media" business model doesn't count for much because their audience is older, stable and large.Forget the prejudice against Fox. WB is thanking their viewers for being the right kind of viewers. But if the show were on CBS, they wouldn't be the right kind of viewers and the show would be toast.
Thread title is really misleading. This news should be trumpted more specifically.
Its not the best written show I've ever seen or the best acted, but I swear it is one of the fastest moving one hour drama's I've seen in a while. I read this on Sci-Fi's site yesterday and smiled. Hopefully now, with no strike, it will gather enough steam to get at least a 3rd season.

You know if the producers, the writers or the actors were saying "thank you" I'd think that this was cute. but this here is like Caligula asking you to thank him for not raping your horse, or Hitler for no... remember when Gul Dukat said that he was not an evil man because he didn't kill all the Bajorans? Y'know he could have, and he thought about it, but he physically restrained himself from destroying the entire species and that is why they have to say thank you and build him some statues? This is just like that.

But that's what I liked about DS9 and Babylon 5. they said a war was coming. It came. And then it went.
The natural conclusion for the Sarah Connor Chronicles is to see the bombs going off for judgement day and then the screen goes black, and the credits roll silent... Just like Clark is supposed to putt he cape on and voyage out to Metropolis for the first time ever and meet Lois.

A 4th film released only 7-months after a cancelled TV show of the same name doesn't sound good to general theatergoers.
Thats good news and they thank us male fans with a nice shot of Lena's awesome cleavage!!! I actually didn't know that they had only approved thirteen episodes but I guess that makes since after the confusion of not knowing if they would return at all.
Great news - I enjoy the show, and I'm psyched they don't have to end it mid-season.
If it makes you feel better the WB has become the CW which is a crappy network and likely to be shut down in the next few years.
