I think he's too old and really doesn't look the part. No I think the male black panther is done and his sister will take over the mantle now.
Only born 8 years before Chadwick, but does look a little older. I guess we have to wait and see how BP2 does.
I think Babs has the build for the part for sure.
Hd doesn't seem to have that lean muscular build that Chadwuck had. He seems to have that middle aged dumpy kind of body. Not a big deal and he looks perfect for the chief medical officer of the enterprise but doesn't look the role of black panther. He might get away with playing the panthers older brother but I don't think anyone wants that now. It sounds one a female panther is coming out way. It might be pretty good depending on how they do it.
I don't mind the actor.

Sure, an “average run of the mill middle aged guy,” who is a two time Pan American Jiu Jitsu championship winner, and worked as stunt coordinator, that is to say one in great shape.
He doesn't have the same physique as Chadwick. So no he would not make a good black panther in a recast.

In SNW (and especially the third episode), it was VERY difficult to make out what he was saying.
Agreed. The accent gets very pronounced when he's speaking angrily/rapidly. I like him in the role, but his lines are just a bit hard to understand sometimes.
