"Wynona Earp" is returing for a TV movie on Tubi.

I swear to god, I cant watch that show without thinking of her as Mrs. McMurray from Letterkenny and narrating the events with a bad imitation of Shoresy.

Hopefully, she filmed all her SNW scenes .... Hate to think we might have seen the last of Captain Batel...

It's a one off 90 minute movie, so I doubt it took that much time for her to film it. Plenty of actors do movies between seasons of shows they're on with no, or little, effect on their role in the show.

Yeah -- with the shorter seasons that most shows have these days, it's easier for an actor to work on multiple projects. Especially since the intervals between those seasons on streaming can be fairly long.

I totally forgot this was even happening until I saw this teaser last week.

This looks great. They must have brought back the original creative, because at least in terms of style and tone this looks like it fits pretty seamlessly in with the series.
Wow, it took my the whole trailer to finally realize that the person with short hair was Waverly, Domique Provost-Chalkley looks totally different like that.

It looks so good! Everyone is back except Jeremy, I think. Even Nedley is in it!

I wonder if we will see Alice but I guess that depends on if she’s still being raised by Gus which seems likely and probably safer. I remember in the finale Wynonna and Doc rode off to see her so at the very least they probably are a part of her life.

Btw Dominique is non-binary and now goes by Dom with they/them pronouns.

No idea at this point but I don’t see why Waverly’s identity would have to match Dom’s. Waverly is not Dom and vice versa.

I never said it "had to" -- obviously it doesn't. But writers often do choose to adapt their characters to fit their actors' attributes because it's interesting, or because it increases representation, or because the performer wanted to play it in a way that was true to themselves. For instance, Larry Trainor is gay in the Doom Patrol TV series, like his portrayer Matt Bomer, even though he isn't in the comics. So it's possible that the makers of the show might want to give the character a personal journey reflecting the performer's. Of course I don't assume they will, which is why I asked it as a question.
