Who should play Lois Lane in the new Superman movie?

My vote is for Lizzy Caplan from "Cloverfield." I think she has the right combination of sex appeal and tough assertiveness that the character needs.

Who do you suggest?

I don't see much point speculating on it until we see who Superman is. The question of chemistry with him is all important. Look at the absolute lack of chemistry between Routh and Kate Bosworth (and I like Superman Returns).

It is a good point that we need to know who is playing Superman because the chemistry will be very important.

But at the same time Lois Lane does have a certain look so it is fun to speculate which actresses do fit that look.
