Which Episodes Had the Best Space Battles?

I hated Enterprise (and Voyager) but I freely acknowledge they had some really nice space battles. (I was watching "The Expanse" last night).

Which episodes featured the best space battles on Enterprise? Which ones if any featured multi ship battles?

I already have "In A Mirror Darkly" I believe it was called. The two part mirror universe episode.

I could watch the Defiant tear through those ships all day long.

I still say DS9 had the best space battles...over any ST series, any ST film.
Never saw massive fleet actions like that anywhere.

And still DS9 gets no respect!

there are big reasons for that.

For one.

On Deep Space Nine, the Federation ALMOST NEVER won their battles through their own efforts.

In the most famous DS9 battle, "Sacrifice of Angels" Starfleet required not one but TWO interventions. The Klingons rescuing them and then the prophets eliminating 2,700 Jem'hadar ships.

Things like that completely spoil the episodes.

Azati Prime had a great space battle where Enterprise was almost destroyed. I also loved The Council's (I believe) space battle that involved various Xindi ships. And I really liked Future Tense, where cell ships and Tholians went toe-to-toe.

The battle with the Xindi ships was in Countdown ... trying to prevent the Reptilians from getting the weapon to Earth.

And yeah, the battle in AP was also spectacular along with the Future Tense one.

Azati Prime and Countdown were some of the best IMO. I loved how dramatic the battle in Azati Prime was - the music, the direction, the slow-mo close-ups - all great stuff IMO. Countdown was also some very impressive effects work.

Definitely watch Azati Prime, The Council, Countdown, and Zero Hour. I also love the battle in Anamoly..I know it's only two ships but it's soooo well done.. and it's cool seeing "Voyager" get destroyed

I like the stuff in Broken Bow as well. And let's not forget the stuff in the andorian Arc of season 4.

though azati prime wasnt too much of a battle while countdown had stuff as well done in a lot of movies.

for a series of encounters there is silent enemy.
i suspect there were some suprised aliens at the end of that.

not exactly a battle scene but all the ships appearing in united and then taking off .
plus that great shot of enterprise saving trip and malcolm.

toward the end of future tense.

I think the battle in Countdown featured that ultra cool shot of the NX-01 going in reverse with phase cannons blazing. Loved it.

Almost all the battles were no good. The NX-01 didn't have shields or technology up to everyone elses so it couldn't hold it's own. It should have had shields from day one and then had the armored plating. What was it called ?

Why didn't they put in the Stars shooting by effect from the end of In a Mirror Darkly into the RM TOS episodes ? It looked amazing seeing an original ship sliding by all shined up with the TNG type stars shooting by.

Polarising the hull plating, I believe.

Space battle sequences always need a good musical score to work, and these both did.

Before "Azati Prime", I don't think we'd seen a space battle sequence where the "hero" ship takes such a pounding since DS9's "The Search, Part One".
