We tend to call each other by our screen names here, which is perfectly natural. But we're also friends... at least some of us are. So I started this thread so that those who have a mind to can share their real names or nicknames or as much as they care to divulge with the rest of the community. Most of us have known each other for years - no reason not to be on a first name basis. That, and I get both amused by and tired of people thinking I'm Mexican.

I also have a large number of nicknames (my family are big on them). My dad usually calls me Beth, Bethy, Bethy-loo (Beth being my middle name). I also get: Hannah Banana, Hanalina Ballerina, HB, HB MacGee, Hanny, Nanny, Nanners. But my most used nickname is Goaty and Goaty Girl, which evolved from Nanny Goat. I suppose Goat isn't the most flattering nickname for a young woman, but I'm very fond of it.
