Ugh. The menu at my restaurant says something like, "Local cows are hand-picked and slaughtered to bring you fresh tasting hamburgers made with quality beef."

We saw the drafts, and I made a comment like, "So...do we like the word 'slaughtered' in this sentence?"

To which my boss replied, "Well, I already sent this to the printers, so yes."

Wow, that's... wow.
