i've a little scenario for youguys and girls'
the date is 20-05-2009 and you are walking down the street when a man rushing along the street suddenly bumps into you. he is carrying a brief case that flies open as you bend down to help him pick his papers up. you relise that he is a renowned astronomer he stuffs the papers into his case mumbles an aplogy then hurries off into a near by building before you can talk further.
upon looking down on the floor you notice he has forgotten a file you pick it up and go home.
upon reaching your house you put the file on the table grab a drink and wonder whats in the file. in the end your couriousity gets the better of you and you decied to read the file, as you read the file you find out the astronomer has discovered a meteor is heading for earth in the file it states excactly where it will hit and when. (it will hit a mayjor city holding 16 million people in five days time, which dosn't leave time to get everyone out). in the file is an adress book containing various contact numbers of the astronomer. you call one of the numbers and tell them you have found the file however before you can talk further an offical voice tells you to keep quite about it someone will be around to collect it witnin the hour.
you ask why the public havn't been informed and the phone gose silent.
here is your dilema what do you do?
would you tell the press ? knowing it would cause panic in the city probaly resulting in a lot o deaths.
or would you wait quietly and wait for the file to be collected and not tell anyone knowing the people wouldn't know what hit them.
or would you do a runner?
or what would you do?..
me i think i would run for it, there's no telling what the people coming to collect the file would do to keep exsistance of the file secrect. i'd maybe tell the press though that could kill thousands in the panic.
