Trek community survey

Hello Star Trek fans!

I am a master student at the faculty of political & social sciences at the University of Antwerp, Belgium. I am writing a thesis about Star Trek fans and their use of the internet to interact with other fans. To this end I would like to invite all of you to fill out a survey I have made, to answer some questions as to the exact nature of your visits to the Trek BBS. The survey consists of 20 multiple choice questions and can be accessed by following this link:

You will be asked to enter a username to prevent any accidental double input. You can just type in any random combination of letters, it doesn't matter. The survey takes about 5 to 10 minutes to complete. The page can take some time to load, this is normal. This is a strictly academic, non-profit undertaking. No personal information will be divulged to outside parties or stored for other research.

Also feel free to make a reply to this thread so it doesn't vanish from the first page straight away.

The questions of the last group were surprisingly dismal, even having known to expect that some from your comments.

If anything, though, the board's a lot less interesting (and rather more depressing) than real life. I've come to post here mostly when I'm sick or when doing something else that requires me to be at my desk but offers micro-breaks.

It was a good survey. I hope it was OK that I interpreted "Star Trek" as meaning any Trek series and not just TOS.
