All the response options assume that my major interest here is Star Trek. It isn't. Mainly I discuss other sf/f shows (BSG, Lost, Heroes, Sarah Connor, Pushing Daisies, Jericho, Reaper) simply because I like to discuss new material and Trek isn't producing any new material (except for books) right now. When Trek series were airing (VOY and ENT), those did form a major part of my postings. When Trek comes back with new material, I'm sure that will happen again but the other stuff will also form a major component as well.

I also like coming here to find out about new stuff on the horizon and I enjoy being the person to post new info about sci fi shows on the horizon as well.

Also, I'm not sure if you really got at this in your poll, but TrekBBS isn't so much a way to "relax" or "feel less lonely" so much as it's just a flat-out addiction.

Just last night I was mentally giving myself a lecture about not spending so much time here anymore. It's a lecture I often give myself, to no avail.

There is literally nothing else in my life I'd say I was addicted to, at least not in a non-positive way.

Well, that has not been decided yet.

Thank you, Temis. Coming from you, that means much to me. That loop animation was actually kind of tricky. But you have a very good loop animation (the smoke) in your current avatar, too. I like it.
