I read Endgadget and the RPF, but I'm glad I caught your post here first. Thank you fior making your presentation and sharing it. What a neat item to have. I'm glad you decided to show the rest of us something cool we may have never known about.

I'm glad you caught it here first, too! I wasn't expecting such a huge internet media response; just wanted to show it off to people who'd want to see it. Not too many of my friends are Trek fans, so I thought the BBS, TPZ, and RPF would be the logical place to share.

My only wish: that these were in commercial production for an affordable price, so I could feel safe carrying one around town and not have to worry about dropping/losing it.

Hmm...I dk if I want a cell phone like that. I think I would do just fine with a Star Trek cell phone ring/chain.
