1. It's Garry Shandling's Show. This was one of the first shows on FOX network, and it was very meta, both the show and the song. The show regularly broke "the fourth wall," and the lyrics to the very catchy tune went: This is the theme to Garry's show, this is the theme to Garry's show, Garry called me up and asked if I would write his theme song ... We're almost halfway there, how do you like it so far? This is the theme to Garry Shandling's Show. And then it kind of runs out of lyrics and whistles for a bit. Brilliant.
2. The Greatest American Hero (just nailed the premise of the show from the point of view of the befuddled main character). Look what just happened to me, I can't believe it myself, suddenly I'm up on top of the world -should have been somebody else! Believe it or not, I'm walking on air ...
3. Starblazers. Really, look it up on YT. It's amazing and epic.
4. The Days and Nights of Molly Dodd. It's a beautiful piece of jazz.
5. Mr. Rogers. It just makes me feel good whenever I hear it. Won't you be, won't you please, please won't you be my neighbor? Hi, Neighbor!
