Not to take seriously a bunch of people who have never been possible to take seriously, but one can ask whether an in-flight magazine map is evidence of anything but the in-flight magazine editors hiring a graphic designer.

I think most of the people who are out there proclaiming that the Earth is flat, do not really believe it. They're disinformation Trolls... they get their jollies from misleading the gullible. And the major entertainment for them is trying so hard to come up with explanations that seem plausible, to mind-screw others who just aren't smart enough to see the difference. They'll engage and debate people about it as an intellectual exercise to see how long they can hold off the "reality argument"... and possibly win it.
Unfortunately, there really are a lot of very very stupid people out there... not by deliberate choice, but by unfortunate circumstances of life whereby they're emotionally stunted, so badly that they can't rise above and have the courage to learn facts that challenge what they know. We'd have far fewer of these sad unfortunate people if our educational systems were better. But government has starved them. Turned them into for-profit enterprises which means the less fortunate can't afford a good education. That's a recipe for stupidom... and it has already happened... will continue to happen... until people like Betsy DeVos grow some moral fiber and do the right thing.

I think B.o.B is just doing this as a media stunt. I never heard of him... until now. The Trump mantra is, negative attention is better than none at all. Funding a project to really test to see if the Earth is flat or round? Hehehehehee... what imbeciles. Satellites orbit the Earth. if the Earth was flat, they'd fly right off into space, right? Watch satellite telemetry in any space agency facility... watch to see if they're ever doing "hard right" or "hard left" navigation to keep a satellite moving around the "flat Earth". Not done.
