I hope you're kidding, but if not, it's a Star Trek board (think about it).
If the Earth were flat I should see my house from Mt Everest with a telescope.
Not to mention, if you could do that, why can't you see Mount Everest from your house, instead of nothing but stars where it would be?
I don't get those people.. the amount of evidence against them is as large as a large, rocky and mostly spherical planet.. 
As for epic album covers: in the 70's Jarre, and the artist Michel Granger already where worried about the planet "We must not kill the planet, we would not know where to bury it.."
