The End of an Era: Discontinued products, services, and defunct companies

Heluva Good New England Clam Dip. One day, it was gone from the case. Forever. Probably best for my arteries, though it was addicting when applied generously to Ruffles.

Way more than a dollar! :D

You too could win a bankruptcy! Don't wait, join now! :D

Man, I remember the days when Ed McMahon was spokesperson.

If I remember correctly, Ed McMahon was spokesperson for American Family Publishers (AFP), that closed down in 1999, he never shilled for Publisher's Clearing House (PCH). PCH prize patrol spokesperson was Dick Clark. Unless I am misremembering due to the Mandela effect. :D

Hmm, I quite clearly remember him as spokesperson for Publisher's Clearing House though, including the photographs taken with winners. I remember because there was one year when someone in my neighbourhood had won, and I don't think the other company operated in Canada as far as I know.

Googling it and it appears you're right and I'm the victim of the Mandela Effect. This is gonna bug me now :D

To their credit, Publisher's Clearing House did have a terrific selection of magazines at decent subscription prices.
