The best Star Trek Youtube video ever

Good vid, but as I said the last time this was posted, they missed out on a few clips that would've worked so much better with the tune.

Okay, having just wrapped up my second appearance in the play version (The Rocky Horror Show), that was pretty fuckin' awesome! (Runs off to email the URL to "Brad", who is also a huge Trek fan!) :)

I watched that when I was checking out Star Trek vids awhile ago, and it is deffinitely one of the best on there.

My all-time favorite Star Trek video on YouTube is that 40th Anniversary tribute - with a montage of images from all five shows and all ten films, set to the orchestral version of the Inner Light theme. Brings a tear to my eye every time...

^^ Fantastic vid that Kegek. Seen it before but still very good. Anyone got any ideas what the second piece of music is? The one after the B5 music.

Wow, that was pretty awsome. Deffinitely one of my favorites. Here's another one of my favorite funny vids.

That's very clever. A surprisingly accurate silent film-style film, considering all the rather haphazard excuses for silent films that exist on youtube. :)

It's listed in the description: "The music is the Babylon 5 Season 3 Opening Theme, "John Dunbar's Theme" from Dances w/Wolves, Philip Glass's "Naqoyqatsi," and "Finale" from Dragonheart, in that order."

<Mental note to self - MUST PAY ATTENTION>

Cheers for that Vertex

It's a good selection, actually. Naqoyqatsi is probably the oddest one - I don't know, who looks at a fleet of Starfleet ships and thinks: Oh yeah, Philip Glass!

But it, and all the track choices, are inspired. By contrast, look at his shorter trailer, which reuses a lot of the same clips the longer one does, but with Star Trek music that drains the effectiveness of the longer trailer. :)

I guess someone has to post this :D ... NIN Reveals the Truth about Kirk/Spock ... danger, warning, not remotely worksafe and not for the faint of heart/slashphobic, but talk about brilliant editing. ;)

*cough*

This is still the definitive youtube Trek for me.

That's great, it makes DS9 look even better than it was. I recall seeing a DS9 trailer that used BSG music/BSG style - was that it? Seemed like the one I saw was a lot shorter...
