"Stop older men from having sex with school girls!"

Apparently this very image of this poster has been around since (at least) 2008 - yet no one on-line seems to know where it's from

ETA:

Look what I also found:

In this day and age, very little is obvious...

Yeah, but we're getting used to it; we can tell from the pixels and from having seen a lot of fakes in our time:

Thanks for the link btw :bolian:

Well done!

I think they should ask people their age when they take that challenge. The results would be fascinating. In my own informal study, everybody I know over 50-years (with the one exception of my graphic designer colleague) has gotten at least nine of the twelve incorrect. Under thirty, and the average is something like ten or more correct.

Well, statistically you shouldn't get more than 50% wrong in the long run even if you have never seen a fake photo (which btw is exactly my result ;))

Those two I got wrong both had blemishes - - apparently one was faked! and the one in the other I took for a fake due to my inexperience with the subject -I now know what to look for though ;)

Do they look Asian to you? Or Indian?

That aside, it's good English, precise and correct. Maybe India.

I thought it looks Asian too, but I can't exactly say why. Just the style of the language used I guess or something.
The fine print at the bottom of the poster is mostly illegible, but I can make out the word "Ministry." The typography and illustration style definitely look like something from India or one of those "stan" countries.
. . . Anyways, older men rock. All young girls should seek out older men.
I'm sure Hugh Hefner and Woody Allen would concur.
Older women also rock. I have it on good authority that this is true.
Absolutely -- just ask Rod Stewart.

Anyone know where this is from? Obviously it was hanging on a window and someone took a picture of it, and it's been making the internet rounds.

It's from a place with quaint flat-roofed commercial-use buildings - likely a small town high street - and where they drive on the right hand side of the road, I can tell you that. There's also a degree of affluence in that place from the looks of that dark vehicle with the big wheels and rims - possibly a 4x4 - and that the poster has that amateurish look but would have been made with a really good colour printer, suggesting the town was big enough to have its own copy or printing shop. That, plus the yellow street markings, modern-looking street lamps, and the Americanised spelling of "gonorrhoea" all suggest it is somewhere in small-town America.

Perhaps.

^Can't be American. The illustration style and typography are much too antiquated, and there's no "Ministry" of anything in the United States. Besides, Mr. Fish Lips looks South Asian.

I still vote for India or Pakistan.

Perhaps.

I suppose it could be a one way street too though, right?

I don't know...i'm starting to think this is a masterful photoshop job.
