Star Trek tattoos

I watched a show about tattoos on TV today and made me wonder...

How many of you got a Star trek themed tattoo of any kind?

And... as a bonus questions: Who actually got Trill spots inked into his skin?

Edit: I might add, that my body is completely tattoo free and will probably stay that way. If I ever get one it should reeeeaaaaally mean something to me.

There was a girl in the gym t'other day and I swear to Heaven she had Trill spots on her back.

I do have a tattoo, but its not related to Trek. Thought about it though and if I did, I've always liked this image:

was it Miami Ink? I've a friend who went on that show.

I'd love to get a Trek tattoo. ^ that one looks good! I'd get something from DS9/Terok Nor. I like the Cardie designs. I've been trying to find the DS9 earrings.

I always thought it would be funny to get a tattoo of the TNG communication device right below my collarbone. Then I think of the pain and decide I don't have that good of a sense of humor.

I think a Star Trek tatt is seriously in the get-a-life category. However I think if you got an actual pattern, a tribal, that was not recognizable to the public as Trek it would be okay (like a Cardassian design).

I always thought about getting Enterprise-E tattoo on my chest, but it seems that I always chicken out at the last minute.

I'd get a TNG combadge or a Klingon Symbol I think. Though I'd want big biceps so it'd look good :)

The TNG combadge has occured to me but I'm not that hardcore. It probably has been done though and would be cool to see.

There was a guy on the Weakest Link a while back who had tattoos of all the ST captains, the Enterprise, Voyager and the Starfleet insignia all over his torso. Very strange.

The tattoo that I was going to get of Enterprise-E, I even posted a poll here on the TREK BBS to see what other fans would say about a 46 year old guy getting such a tattoo on my chest. People between 16 - 25 thought that it was a good idea, People between 26 - 40 really didn't have much to comment, and people between 41 - 50 thought that getting such a tattoo was really for a younger person. The tattoo artist designed a great looking tattoo of Enterprise-E with much detail, but about the time that I could get it schedule to be done, he quit and went to work for another tattoo studio. :( Part of me would still like to get a tattoo, just not sure of getting the Enterprise is still a good idea at age 46. Please advise.....

If I were going to get a Trek tattoo it would be the engineering symbol from the inside of the original TOS command badges.

Nobody but a hard core Trek fan would recognize it, and it has personal meaning in my life, as my Grandpa Scotty and James "Scotty" Doohan both kept encouraging me to go into computers as I got beaten down for my interest in the FAD from the rest of my family.

an argentinian football fan went to a tattoo parlor to get the badge of his team, Boca Juniors, tattoo'd on his neck. unfortunately, the artist was a fan of arch-rivals River Plate and so he gave the guy a tattoo of a dick on his neck.

^ get it. you only live once. :)

I completely agree. Even though I said it was in the get-a-life category it's your life and your skin. I do think it is quite sad when people don't do something like this just because they are "too old" or from disapproval.

Would you have any regrets once it's done? That's the only consideration IMHO.

Think of all those sailors of yore who had the names of their ships tattooed on the arms, or of the female figurehead from their vessel. This is the pop culture equivelent.
