There have been several episodes where whatever happened to people was explained away with handwavium technology. Notably when members of the crew get mutated into salamanders or spiders/fish/simians and it REALLY should be a big deal to restore everyone back to normal, and yet there they are after at most a couple lines of dialogue to explain it.

LOL "my generation doesn't really collect things"
so true. I just hope I can sell my "collectibles" before all the buyers die off

Excellent episode! 8/10

I've often laughed with the episodes plenty of times, found much to love with the characters and themes, I don't recognize all the callbacks but not doing so doesn't hamper the story, but that scene had me rolling on the floor laughing big-time several times. (It also has a callback of sorts to its premiere episode that's really nicely done.)

I call on the TrekBBS community to help me answer this question:

Is there anything in this episode I need to be forewarned about regarding gratuitous sex or violence to the degree where it would be irresponsible to watch this in the company of my ten year old daughter, who enjoys watching the show with me?

Most of LD, I thought, was aimed for at least older teens and adult fans of the franchise in general?

Historically, animated presentations were generally created for adults - though seeing a cartoon coyote run off a cliff and lift up a small placard reading "oops" never got boring after a few dozen times either...

I liked it. And I liked that Ms. Gibney made an appearance. A few of the fantasies and nightmares were a little obscure. And the whole "turned to stone . . . and then got better" angle was kind of reaching.
