Luckily my wife is also always keen to read a new book of mine, being that she's a Trek/DW/etc fan too.

Since Geordi is playing a major part in this, what are the chances that Mikaela Leishman will be appearing to some extent? Even just a little comm call, something to indicate that Geordi's love life is improving. Isn't he the only member of the TNG main cast that's not got some kind of regular relationship?

Well, I guess Data qualifies... Also, I think Worf is currently unattached, but he may not qualify as he is a widower.

Novel - I can see where the title might make it sound nonfictional, cos, yes, Trek *is* indistinguishable from magic!
