My review - http://www.flickeringmyth.com/2015/07/comic-book-review-star-trekgreen-lantern-1.html #TheSpectrumWar

Considering how often NuTrek characters change their uniforms in the movies I'd say GL has a decent chance.

I've read it and thought it was fun
Sure, I'm not an expert when it comes to the green lantern so this might limit my enjoyment a bit but it's fun

Oh god, it's nutrek and hal jordan

they should subtitle it the worst of both worlds.

gimmie shatner/kyle, then we're talking

I still don't understand how the orange lantern ring didn't shoot straight to Ferenginar. Romulan power-mongers have nothing on an average, typical Ferengi's greed.

The latest issue has a nice tip-of-the-hat to the director of Star Trek Beyond.

Lantern Rings don't seek out the most powerful emotions in the universe. In general, they just search the nearest space sector for a suitable replacement. Ferenginar is likely just too far away.

I must admit to being a little tweaked by Hal stating that he and Kirk are the same rank, when a Naval Captain and Air Force Captain are not equivalent ranks. As well, there's that weird moment when Hal calls the Enterprise a "starship" and Kirk says "flagship, actually" which just seemed super odd.

Nitpicks, I know. But they stood out to me quite a bit.

It's a pretty common mistake - I didn't realise the difference until I started reading the Sharpe books, and I didn't truly grasp the massive amount of power a naval captain had until I read the Hornblower books.

Also Hal is an idiot so it makes sense that way too
