News Star Trek: Bridge Crew Open To Non-VR Players

Ghost , I would replay Bridge Commander again.

The storyline (as far as I can recall is this).....
The NX starship is a prototype ship, that means when you scan enemies, you can then also jam certain functions, like their shields, comms or weapons. You are sent out on a mission to find a home for the Vulcans, and for some reaon the Klingons have developed a Protomater weapon, which you stumble upon. The final mission is you, and a small fleet go and intercept the Klingons, break the shields down, beaming the weapon off and voila, done. There are only 5 missions in total, and involve things like warping to different system, scan stuff, blow up some ships, scan more stuff, disable shields to beam stuff up (whilst your shields need to be dropped, meaning you take damage).

I am sure I am not doing the game much justice! I had more fun with Dominion Wars! :)

Based on what I am hearing here, I think I'm going to wait for the prices to go down a bit more.

I agree with BillJ, I think that I will be waiting for the prices to drop as well, though I am anxious to begin playing.

World of Longplay has uploaded a video walkthrough of the game.
I have only seen snippets of it as it is a double part and quite long, but so far it looks really boring as the user goes through the various control stations and gives orders or operates the station himself.
So far I have barely seen anything that is taking place on the main screen.

Does anyone know if lower-spec computers can run it in non-VR? I don't meet the minimum specs but I assume the system load is less for non-VR?
