Requiescat in pace Mr. Lee

I was a very avid collector of Marvel comic books in the 1970ies growing up, and to this day am still a big Fantastic Four fan.

Stan Lee shaped a lot of my imagination as a kid. 95 is a good run (and I think he would have been 96 in December); but it's still sad when someone passes regardless of age.

Excelsior!
and Make Mine Marvel!

RIP

Sad news. Saw it earlier on facebook. Still yet to anything done this morning. Thanks for everything that he did. The world is so much better for what he created.

Excelsior!!!

His characters were a major formative influence on a generation of readers, myself included. The role models he gave us were arguably without peer and still speak to society’s ills and aspirations, as do some of his villains. His death feels like it marks the passing of an age, and the world won’t be quite the same without him in it.

While 95 is a good age to reach, death sucks no matter how old the person is. Still, Stan Lee's contributions to the entertainment industry are undeniable and he leaves behind one amazing legacy that many could only hope to achieve.

RIP

I remember hearing that when Disney released the 67 Spider-Man box set, apparently he had recorded some bonuses. It’s to bad that we never heard much from Stan Lee about that historical series, as it would’ve been interesting to have heard some of his memories about the creation of that series.
