To be fair, he never said it was "unpronounceable" - he just said "You couldn't pronounce it..." to Leila in "This Side Of Paradise". (Hey, she was a Blonde)

There may be some nuance to the pronunciation that the human tongue cannot replicate which makes human pronunciation intolerable to Vulcan ears. You know, Vulcan ears being what they are and all.

I actually like it.
It's unpronounceable enough that Spock would say something like that. But still pronounceable enough and looks similar to other Vulcan stuff.

It's definitely better than anything I ever could have come up with for his name, which would have been either letter salad or weird alien noises. This is fine. Before, I always tried to ignore this part of "canon". Now I see this name. And I suddenly can see it.

Helps that it's not a secret-sister-sized retcon, and no meta joke. It just fits.
