mind you I'm only criticising the drawing, not the suit itself

As a retired USAF F-4 mechanic..

My first observation was the pockets. Putting objects in pockets can some times cause incidents. The suit needs some sort of external kit bag at the waist line. Some thing hard shelled with a very secure fastener.

That *might* be one end of a back zipper. I know lots of dry suits are made that way... some space suits too, IIRC.

They remind me of the "Silence in the Library" space suits from Doctor Who. I keep expecting

"Hey!, who turned out the lights!"

Even that drawing of the face looks disembodied

I like the Space Activity Suit concept better, nothing like cooling your own body with sweat in space!!!!! Hopefully it can come to fruition.
