@Redgeneral, I checked out your blueprint for the K-arch to see if and where it differed. I see that the above plan does have slightly different dims. Do you think they built them to these numbers, or do you have reason to think your version is closer? If the former, do you think this will improve your camera-matched models? They already looked very accurate to me.

I've just just put the new arch dimensions in a camera match - so far it looks good. The camera match is slightly tweaked over the previous version I posted.

One of the inset panels needs altering (marked with dotted line), and the corner rounding still needs to be tested. I suspect the corner rounding values may be different though.

You'll also find since the blueprint is mentioned as "airlock", it'll most likely be from 11001001 when they attached the airlock door to the side of the engineering set. Not the K-beam blueprint for the rest of the corridors. Angles are probably the same though.

Yeah. And those images also show the original tambour paneling on the side walls. But what I didn't know until these blueprints is that they were meant to also open like tambour doors and hid some kind of cabinet or equipment bays behind. Does anyone know if they intended anything other than the types of circuitry that we saw later in the series when the panels were open? Like when the Bynars were working on them?

Oh, and those carpet panels seem like they're the same pattern, though not the color, as used at the top of the ready room walls. That's also called out on the plans. I haven't had any luck searching online for the names they referred to it as.

It's possible it's for the TMP door too, hard to say. Hell, the TMP door frame was probably reused _for_ the 11001001 episode segment.

There's just too many places whre the frame was used that were "non standard" compared to the standard TNG stage 9 door, so i'm simply saying the angles may be fine but the width can be variable depending on where it came from

ooohh I was looking for an angle showing that last one, there is an image of Probert in front of one of those doors somewhere and it was a good image, but I can't find it anywhere now.

@Count I completely missed that the round airlock was within the k-beam fame. I will check the widths at each location - one example is that the corridor alcove has a more narrow version.

Just uploaded the last of my own collection. My previous scans used a small desktop pc scanner, requiring about twelve images to then be stitched together afterwards. This time round, a new scanning shop opened up so now it was so much easier.

Those E-D decal callouts are really cool. Something interesting I noticed: The nacelle pylons look very different on this top view than any other I've ever seen before.

Here's a comparison between the one that was just posted and the one that comes from the official Sternbach blueprints (1996) that has become the de-facto baseline for the Galaxy-class design:

The discrepancy is quite stunning. I think I kind of like the first design better than what they settled on, if I'm honest...

I keep shaking my head while looking at these, almost hard to believe these are all available now. I particularly like the Type-7 prints, those are great.

When were those plans for the different viewscreen drawn up? Were they an option considered from the beginning, or something done at a later date to make it easier to film? After TNG, I was always kind of disappointed with how small the viewscreens got. It was especially the case with Voyager. Just felt like they had backtracked on some of the ambition that TNG started with.
