I'm actually excited for the show to be back for that reason. I'm hoping we might get some Farengi ships in the fray.

It's probably going to be something we saw in season 3, maybe something from season 4 as well. That's basically the rule in subsequent seasons adding to that battle. IE:
In season 2 they added Pakled ships (introduced in S1 finale) and Klingon BoPs (which were revealed later in S2 to be part of the Pakled storyline).
In Season 3 they added the Crystalline Entity (which we saw in S2).
