Search for best Star Trek TOS fanfiction

Dear all,
As the title state, I'm searching for the best TOS fan stories ever written. At the beginning I thought that would be an easy task, but after few google attempts I end up with thousand of stories with no ranking. No best, no worst, abandoned archives, forgotten writers, dead links and a bit of frustration.
Is it possible, and of course it is, that there is no place with the best stories ranked? Best stories of the year, best stories ever, ...

I've started to read the 17 pages of "TBBS Fanfic Recommendations" thread, but still, broken links, endless searches over internet and no results. To be honest I didn't read all the posts.

I apologize to complaining so much, but, as I said, is frustrating finding several thousand of TOS stories and not to be able to choose one from another.

In the end I'm asking help in finding the best TOS stories ever written. To be precise, I'm looking for the 5 year mission period, no TMP or other movies. TAS in not my first choice, but it's OK as part of the 5 year mission. Rating K or K+ are OK, "reasonable" T is OK, M and MA are not of my interest at this time. I prefer stories that fits in the TOS canon or stories that do not broke it apart (minor discrepancy are OK).

If you have some hints, they are welcome.

There are some terrific TOS-era fanfic series, though the ones I'm familiar with have original crews/characters serving aboard other starships of that period.

Here's Ad Astra's TOS era stories. Some of these are TOS-era, others feature the original Star Trek series crew of the Enterprise under Captain Kirk.
