Interesting, I'm not seeing that when I look it up on Netflix.

As usual, it doesn't surprise me to see Netflix not bothering to do any sort of decent advertising campaign. If that ends up being the case, the prospects for a third season are dim.

Netflix always does their advertising push about four weeks before the new season so it doesn’t get lost in the noise.

Well, it's not coming to SkyShowtime on June. Hopefully sometime soonish, it will.

Most advertising is in a 3 to 4 week window due to fast diminishing returns of advertising.

I'm disappointed, but fairly certain, that Netflix will not make further seasons of Prodigy, and that we should consider ourselves lucky that we even got this.
I agree, unfortunately, so I hope that season 2 actually completes its story and doesn't end on a cliffhanger.

But hey, maybe we'll be pleasantly surprised and Netflix renews it. Even one more season (likely less than 20 episodes) would be nice.

Like other shows at Netflix, future seasons depend on how the newest one performs. Blue Eye Samurai was the same. It didn’t get renewed for a new season until it had been out for a month or two, according to the Showrunner.

Hey, it is true! That's awesome, I can live with getting 20 more episodes of Star Trek. I could also live with getting 20 more after that, so I hope it gets enough viewers to justify its continuing existence. I know shows don't tend to exist for very long on Netflix, but there are exceptions and I think Prodigy has the potential to be exceptional.

On my Netflix, it still is listed as Season 2 Coming Soon. Did Netflix make an official announcement or are they pranking all of us. I know the Hagemans and Bonnie Gordon made the announcement, but they have been wrong before.
